Any chance of stopping these? For example you have to input a code when signing up.

Just getting annoying with all this shit 'they' post.

What about confirming email addresses?

Or having admin check each sign up...? I'm a few of us on here would do it? Wouldn't take too long.

confirming emails is already done, but i aint got time to check every member request. theres a new blackpool_phpbb out, so ill upgrade it and see if it fixes it

ive got a vbulletin license that isnt being used. believe me, the same happens in vbulletin, just coz it aint free doesnt mean people dont hack it or get around the security. in my past experienec i have had more problems with vbulletin then blackpool_phpbb

Prefer vBulletin to phpBB but prefer vanilla to all others :D

Theres loads of little tricks ya can do to stop the bastards, I posted a link to a thread with loads of tips with phpBB a while back altho the thread might've since been deleted.
